| ATTENDEES: | More than 6,000 professional trade buyers and business-to-business buyers from all of the Islands of Hawaii attend The Hawaii Market September Merchandise Expo. The business-to-business demographics of the State of Hawaii indicate that it ranks among the largest in the nation with respect to "cottage industries" as well as per-capita retail establishments. The cottage industry buyers especially generate a substantially large number of small quantity purchases per exhibitor, and they are well represented among all the buyers who attend the shows. |
| PRODUCER: | The Hawaii Market September Merchandise Expo is one of the six annual trade events produced by Douglas Trade Shows, Hawaii's largest and oldest trade show production, management and consulting company. Douglas Trade Shows has been successfully producing trade events in Hawaii for the apparel, gift, jewelry, fashion accessory, lodging, hospitality, foodservice, hotel and restaurant industries since 1983. |

| PRODUCTS EXHIBITED: | Antiques, apparel and fashion accessories, artificial flowers, baskets, beach-wear, beads, books, bowls, calendars, candy, candles, ceramics, Christmas gifts & ornaments, clocks, coffees, collectibles, condiments, cookies, cosmetics, costume jewelry, decorative items, diaries, dolls, fine jewelry, frames, games, gems, gift wraps, gourmet foods, greeting cards, handbags, holiday decor, jams, jellies, leather goods, luggage, novelties, pens, photo albums, postcards, posters, pottery, rubber stamps, sauces & dressings, snacks, souvenirs, spices, stationery, teas, toys, vases, watches and much more. |
| PROMOTION: | Personalized invitations, buyer passbooks and official entry badges are sent to all pre-qualified buyers throughout the State of Hawaii. Display ads are placed in appropriate Hawaii and Mainland trade publications, and exhibitors are provided invitational postcard mailers to invite their special preferred buyers. An Official Buyers Guide is handed out to all attendees upon entry to the show and special buyer promotions and travel packages are developed annually for each show. |
| FACILITY: | The Hawaii Market September Merchandise Expo is held in the Exhibition Hall of the Blaisdell Center in Honolulu. It is conveniently located just minutes between downtown Honolulu and Waikiki on the Island of Oahu. The Blaisdell Center is a non-union facility. Exhibitors may proceed on their own to move-in, install, dismantle and remove their exhibit materials and displays. There is also plenty of parking on-site. |
| BOOTHS: | 10' deep x 10' wide exhibit booths include a pipe & drape exhibit space, choice of free furniture package including skirted display tables, side chairs, fashion racks, wastebasket, booth I.D. sign, listing in the official buyer's guide and on the Douglas Trade Shows website. |
| PRICES: | $1075.00 plus 4.5% for Hawaii general excise tax. A deposit of $350.00 is required with each application. The balance is due forty-five (45) days prior to the show. A full refund will be made for cancellations confirmed in writing more than forty-five (45) days prior to the show. |
